Industry Webinar #9 w/Liz Atherton

Liz Atherton has been guiding voice and on-camera talent to success for decades – first with her talent agency, TAG Talent, and more recently with her VO casting platform, CastVoices. That same concept, Liz is currently working on expanding for on-camera and behind the camera pros. She’s also hosted several rounds of the amazing Voice Over Audition Checkup (VOAC) where each week, students meet a new industry pro who assigns them a mock audition to work on and submit.

Liz relishes being a mentor and all-around guru for all things entertainment.

During this session, Liz will be sharing with us her method for bringing unique inner character aspects to your auditions and reads, using a distinct set of characteristic “personalities” to the work you’re already doing 0 both behind the mic and in your career. She calls this her Sybil class. For those who aren’t familiar, Sybil was a character in a film of the same name, who discovers her various multiple personalities and learns to use them to great advantage. That was a suspenseful horror story, but VO career doesn’t have to be.
