Every Monday, we meet for twenty minutes of workout for your body and your voice, followed by some Q&A with one of the most knowledgeable and respected vocal coaches working in the industry today. This workout is for any level, whether you've trained previously or not. Each weekly workout will cover the four essential ingredients that you need to further or create your vocal fitness:
1. A physical warm-up that includes stretches and tension release in the four key areas that can negatively affect your voice
2. A series of exercises to create consistent breath support3. Some more exercises to strengthen and improve the voice itself - both in resonance and range4. Finally, some articulation exercises that focus on the speech muscles, helping you nail tongue-twisters and technical jargon with ease. Then we'll enjoy Q&A with Yvonne. This part of the class will focus on whatever questions you have about voice and voice work. Topics for Q&A session can range from top tips on a specific accent, working with text and cold reading, discussion about your own voice issues and concerns, handling nerves behind the mic - absolutely anything! Yvonne will select one topic to focus on in the ten minutes. These warmups are essential because like an athlete, you need to keep your vocal fitness going, no matter how experienced you are.

Creature Voices with ZERO Damage Webinar - Replay
“I’ve been working as a character voice actress for 30 years, and my recent work with Yvonne has been a revelation. Every time I performed my 34 character solo play, I was in dread fear of losing my voice. In just a few sessions with Yvonne, tending to the whole actor in me, relaxing and allowing the characters to live without tension or threat of damage, I sailed through my last run with flying colors. Not only did I come through with zero damage, but my voice felt stronger and more warmed up than ever before. I am delighted that she has chosen to join us in the Character Acting Academy, and can’t wait to share her techniques and warm-hearted teachings with you!”
