Acting for Voice Over — Fundamentals with Micha Espinosa | Week 3: Given Circumstances — Building the World Around the Voice

Course Overview
Voice acting is, first and foremost, acting. This six-week intensive introduces the foundations of performance for voice-over through the lens of Stanislavski-based practice, integrating
approaches drawn from Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, Sanford Meisner, and contemporary acting methods.

Students will learn to craft emotionally truthful, technically precise, and imaginatively rich performances for microphone. Through progressive weekly exercises, participants explore
objectives, given circumstances, sensory awareness, subtext, and scene analysis—the essential building blocks of compelling voice-over work.

By the end of the course, students will have a toolkit for creating fully realized, specific, and resonant performances across commercial, narrative, and character genres.
